This year’s Hotel Design Awards are expected to attract more interest than ever, with participations exceeding all expectations. The award this year takes on a special value, since it paves the way for international partnerships. The strategic partnership with leading media in Architecture and Tourism for the selection of this year’s Nominators, i.e. the people who recommended hotels for their high quality of Design, raised the level of the event even higher.
There were more than 60 participations, and the 100% Hotel Show team has short-listed the 30 runner ups. These shortlisted participations will be brought before the Jury, which will be faced with a task carrying more difficulty and responsibility than ever. Once a year, outstanding representatives from the world of Greek hotels and other services related to tourism make up the Jury, while at the same time the prominent figures of Architecture that take part endorse the technical capacity of the candidates.

The special award for the winners
In partnership with Fantini Rubineti, one of the most upmarket bathroom Design firms, the award for the 5 main categories (Best City Hotel, Best Resort, Best villa, Best Boutique Style Hotel, Best Luxury Apartment), carries added significance. Winners, together with representatives of the 100% Hotel Show, will travel to Casa Fantini, to the company’s plant in Orta, Italy, to attend a special Personalized Workshop that will open new paths of collaboration with the established brand and its partner designers.
