The 100% Hotel Design Awards Ceremony, which until last year was linked to the opening of the 100% Hotel Show, was held for the first time on Sunday morning this year. This change in timing altered the atmosphere and placed emphasis on the creative exchange of ideas regarding the latest trends in Hotel Architectural Design. This was achieved as the change in the ceremony's timing allowed attendees to visit the exhibition afterward, engage with exhibitors, and converse with the architects who participated.
The 100% Hotel Design Awards, like the 100% Hotel Show, have always been characterized by the significant focus they place on the relationship between Hotel Projects and Architectural Design. This year, this emphasis was even more pronounced, both within the context of the exhibition with the participation of architectural firms showcasing installations and presenting complete proposals, and during the Award Ceremony itself, where architects who designed the standout projects were given the floor to briefly explain the design idea behind the outcome. This was further supported by the fact that the ceremony was hosted by Interior Designer Mary Sfyraki, who, through targeted questions directed at the winners, gave them the opportunity to express their philosophy.
As part of the emphasis on Architecture, a special award category has been established in recent years for the 100% Hotel Architect of the Year. This year, the award was presented by the organizer of the 100% Hotel Show, Mr. Dimitris Antonakos, to the architectural firm Urban Soul Project, specifically to Mr. Tasos Georgantzis and Ms. Maria Tsafhtari. A retrospective followed, covering the beginnings and journey of Urban Soul Project, as well as an analysis of the firm's philosophy, which includes teamwork and a focus on the uniqueness of each project, something reflected in the distinctive outcome of every project they undertake.
Next, a special mention was made of the sponsor of this year's 100% Hotel Design Awards, the company Ave Hellas, which provides high-quality and uniquely designed interruptive materials for enhanced aesthetics in professional spaces. Additionally, Ave Hellas offered a commemorative gift to each winner of the 100% Hotel Design Awards.
Before the award ceremony for each category winner began, the 38 finalists of the competition were presented to the audience. As emphasized at the start of the Ceremony by the organizers, all of them are considered winners, which was made clear by the impressive presentation of all the projects at a specially designed area of the Exhibition. This was followed by the award presentations, which included 12 main categories, 2 special categories, and 3 honorary distinctions.
The award presentations were carried out by highly successful representatives from the fields of Architecture, Tourism, Art, as well as the Supply Industry.

The presentation of 3 Honorary Distinctions for the Product Design competition followed, a competition that was introduced in last year’s edition to highlight the exceptional value that design products add to Hotels and Luxury Accommodations, enhancing the guest experience.
The record participation of highly notable Hotel Projects, the presence of all the competitors at the Award Ceremony, and the wide variety of awarded projects, once again proved that the 100% Hotel Design Awards are a Celebration of Architecture, continuing to evolve and attract the dynamic audience of the industry every year!
