Invitation to Participate in the leading Hotel Design Competition for Greece and Cyprus
OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
100% Hotel Show organizes the Hotel Design Competition “100% Hotel Design Awards,” which, since 2015, has been held annually as part of the main Athens event.
As Crete has now become the Exhibition’s “second home” through the organization of 100% Hotel Show | Crete, the launch of a Special Competition for Crete is announced, along with the opening of the submission process for the 1st Hotel Design Competition “100% Hotel Design Awards | Crete 2026.”
Through the Competition, Architects and Designers gain exposure to the most dynamic professionals in the tourism sector: Hoteliers, Villa & Upscale Apartment Owners, Travel Agents, Tour Operators, Media, Construction Companies, Financial Consultants, Marketing Managers, and other industry specialists.
Beyond immediate visibility for participants, 100% Hotel Show has established and continues to develop the “100% Hotel Design Awards” institution with the aim to:

Record and present contemporary trends in hotel architectural design, while rewarding practices that create competitive hotels and effectively “educating” professional visitors of the Exhibition.

Highlight the role of high-quality design in creating a distinct identity and enhancing both the experience and overall image of luxury accommodations and villas. This approach underlines that architectural design concerns not only aesthetics, but also the commercial performance of hospitality businesses.

PARTICIPATION CRITERIA
Eligible to participate in the 1st 100% Hotel Design Awards | Crete 2026 are:

Architects / Architectural Offices based in Crete for projects completed anywhere in the world, realized (or studied, in the case of unrealized projects) within the last five years.

Projects located in Crete that were designed (or studied, in the case of unrealized projects) by Architects / Architectural Offices from anywhere in the world.
Important clarification:
An entry may be submitted by any party involved in the project (Architects, Designers, Hotel Owners, Operators, Investors–Developers, Contractors).
However, it is recommended that the lead Architect or Designer of the project oversees the submission.
