Located on the Cycladic island of Ios, Ios Grand Pool Suites establishes a dialogue with the unique character of its natural surroundings. The design adapts, harmonizes and simultaneously draws inspiration from the plasticity, austerity and timeless simplicity of Cycladic architecture. The main objective of the composition is the seamless integration of the complex into its distinctive landscape, with emphasis on the experience of outdoor living and the continuous connection of the visitor with the natural environment.
The twelve suites are positioned according to the optimal orientation, ensuring unobstructed views towards the Aegean Sea and a high degree of privacy. Natural light, shadow, white surfaces, the use of natural materials and balanced contrasts serve as the fundamental tools of the architectural composition, creating a contemporary yet calm, intimate and timeless hospitality environment.
The historical identity of Cycladic culture is reflected in the interior design, which incorporates architectural elements such as arches and forms inspired by Cycladic art, reinterpreted through a contemporary design approach.
