The villa is a newly built structure located in the region of Mani, inspired by the area’s distinctive architectural language through craftsmanship, materiality and reuse. Comprising three distinct structures, the architecture carefully frames views towards the sea and mountains, establishing a strong connection between the buildings and their surrounding topography.
The house was conceived as a contemporary interpretation of Mani’s traditional stone-built typologies, incorporating local stone, reclaimed Byzantine roof tiles, carved timber doors and antique marble basins. These elements combine traditional craftsmanship and materials with contemporary comfort, creating a dialogue between the region’s architectural heritage and a contemporary way of living.
This approach was also extended to the interiors, where bespoke elements were combined with vintage pieces, contemporary textures, creating interiors that feel both authentic and refined while remaining closely connected to the character of the region.
From the main building, a sequence of shaded and open terraces creates a gradual transition between interior and landscape, supporting a slower, more immersive way of living, shaped by outdoor activities.
