Hotel Revenue Management is the process of using data and statistics to predict future guest behaviour and demand. The goal of Revenue Management is to achieve the maximum possible revenue based on the hotel’s capacity. The process includes frequent monitoring of statistics (occupancy, average daily rate, revenue, turnover, or even more complex elements such as RevPAR, GOPPAR, etc.), comparing prices with competition, increasing and decreasing prices based on variables such us competition, demand and current performance.
