THE ILISIANS Hotel [formerly HILTON]
The historic building that housed Hiton Athens for over half a century is evolving from a hotel into a multi-use and experiential ecosystem where a new hotel and residences of Hilton’s award-winning Conrad and Waldorf Astoria brands will coexist, as well as gastronomic, entertainment, wellness, shopping and a modern members’ club, connecting the world with modern Athens.
In a sense, returning the name Ilisian to the district, which we have learned to largely call Hilton, the name THE ILISIAN, inspired by the historic Ilissos River as well as the Ilisian neighborhood, expresses the new destination’s timeless unbreakable relationship with Athens, Ilisian, and the residents of the area. THE ILISIAN aims to express the cosmopolitan character that is part of the building’s identity, while offering experiences of authentic, modern Athens. With respect for the cultural identity of the city, THE ILISIAN seeks to connect modern international trends with the city's heritage, creating a meeting place for Athenians and visitors.
