In the first panel of the RevitUp Hospitality Lab, we analyze the modern role of the Digital Marketer within the hotel and how it evolves from an execution-focused role into a strategic partner of management. Through discussions with RevitUp executives as well as market professionals, hoteliers, and partners, we examine how digital marketing directly impacts sales, brand positioning, and overall revenue. We discuss which data a Digital Marketer should leverage, how they collaborate with revenue management, when campaigns deliver real value, and what the most common mistakes are that lead to wasted budget.
